The following biographies are for the three founders of Bembridge, Williams and Crane - BW&C Ltd. - who lead from the front and are accountable for all our company does, says ... and fails to do! Clearly not everyone will want to read their life stories, so what follows are the headline facts with a more complete bio available to download and read offline at your leisure.
Director of MI & Reporting
Bringing data to life, ensuring it makes sense and designing impactful visuals of performance is what really drives Sam as he feels it is vital to what organisations and leaders need to make informed and impactful decisions, both now and for the future.
Sam has experience across multiple sectors, including insurance (NFU Mutual), banking and finance (Coventry Building Society), utilities (National Grid) and logistics (Genesee & Wyoming Inc.).
"I've been described as extremely personable with an inquisitive style that connects easily. I'm particularly effective at getting people to see and understand the wider context. Data, MI & Performance Management are my tools and my friends.
Family time is important to me, and I can think of nothing better than heading off to explore the wilderness with them or putting my boots on and enjoying a game of Rugby."
Director of Governance
Sharon's acknowledged specialism is in implementing an effective, scaleable and practical PMO capability for business. She does that by ensuring that their structure, capacity and capability is tailored to the demands of their environment for the short-, medium- and longer-term.
Sharon has a background in Industrial Economics, with practical experience of PRINCE2, ITIL, and the Managing Successful Programmes methodologies, having worked at Deutsche Bank and various finance institutions.
"I like to think of the PMO as providing an essential layer to ensure projects and programmes have a safe and cost-effective delivery mechanism coupled to effective communication, with the ability to pivot quickly where required. Supporting complex transformation is one of my specialisms and making the complex stuff simple enough so everyone with a vested interest understands what is going on is my art!
I enjoy podcasting, and my other pastimes of cooking and going to the gym just go hand-in-hand!"
Director of Delivery
Kellie thought she was destined for a life in the legal profession but early on in her career, another opportunity presented itself and, as it turned out, she was naturally predisposed to it. The discipline of change management has remained a constant in her professional life ever since.
Initially working for a blue-chip telecoms company, Kellie was soon transforming wayward and complex projects through her natural ability to engage with people on a professional and personal level, coupled to a flexible and effective deployment of formal methods.
"I know it can sound a little odd but I thrive on change and complexity - I genuinely enjoy working out solutions to implementation problems and then leading teams of people towards a common goal. Seeing the relief on people's faces after removing the delivery burden is a source of deep satisfaction. I've lost count of the number of times I've been told 'I can finally sleep at night!'
Visiting the theatre, dance, gardening, reading, watching rugby, international travel, gin, Prosecco and cocktails are the rewards I look forward to after a period of intense professional activity!"
"Change almost never fails because it's too early.
It almost always fails because it's too late."
